Have you ever wanted to hack your friends’ passwords??
Stop it right now if you let your friends borrow your laptop. This might lead your profile hacking to bank account hacking. There’s a thing in firefox which enables the users to see their saved passwords. So what does this mean? This actually means you can borrow your friend’s laptop and see their saved passwords, isn’t it amazing? Well, not for the firefox developers :D
Now let me explain you the details to see others’ passwords. First of all, you go to the tools >Options on the menu bar.
Make sure you are on the security tab, then click on the ‘saved passwords’ button.
Now here you are. You can see the list of usernames(right) for the websites(left) you visit. I have cleared my list of usernames for security purpose.
Now, just click on show passwords to see all the passwords. Firefox prompts you to be sure to see the passwords.
Yes, you can see the passwords, and it’s not in the **** form. Look at here. (I have cleared the list of passwords for security purpose)
So there you go. Finally! You got your friend’s passwords or your own forgotten passwords. This might not be the best way of hacking because it contains a number of pre-conditions:
• The computer user must allow the password save option in his/her browser.
• You can only do this is firefox or google chrome.
• The hacker can’t use his own computer.
But no worries, you still get your friend’s passwords if your friend is kind enough to let you borrow his computer (usually laptop), even for a few mintues. Now, since you all have learnt this trick I don’t want you all to mis-use it. You can just use it as a prank.
Good Luck!
