ANOTHER WINDOWS TRICK - DISPLAY YOUR NAME ON THE TASKBAR
Hey everyone. Ever wondered what you can do with windows? No, I’m not talking about windows of your house, I mean Microsoft Windows. Well I was just hanging around and you know what I’ve found crazy simple but 'don’t know about' it trick. And that is adding your text in your taskbar(the area where your clock resides). So here’s how you do it.
We basically create accounts with our name, add our pictures and wallapers and so on to make your PC totally customized. Well going straight, what would you say if you could put your name instead of the AM PM on the taskbar of your windows? Weird huh.. Think about it. Your name on the taskbar all the time which means your pc shows you as its owner. Why wait for it. Here’s what you have to do for that.
Windows Seven And Vista:
1. 1.Go to control Panel.
2. 2.Click on clock, language and region tab.
3. 3.Then click on the Region and language Tab.
4. 4.After the box appears click on Additional Settings.
5. 5.Click on the time time and have a look at where “AM”, “PM” is written.
6. Now its simple as It seems.
7. 6.Click on The AM or PM written tab and type in your name or whatever you like.
8. 7.Click ok.
Windows Xp:-
1. Navigate to -> Start -> Control Pannel -> Regional and Language Option -> Click on Customize -> Go to TIME Tab -> Change AM symbol and PM symbol from AM and PM to ur name -> Apply -> Ok ...
Did It change? If not, follow step-2 below.
Step2:- Now go to time in taskbar and Double Click it to open "Date and time property" ...Look place where time changes in digital form i.e. 02:47:52 AM , click to arrow to cnage the AM or PM by selecting and press arrow. It will Show ur name or name that was entered by u,
3. Apply -> OK .
