Let’s go to the flashback while installing the windows, do you remember 1 thing? We are asked for the language, Time and currency. On this basis windows sets the wallpaper and install the themes according to the location we give. Example: If you choose US (United States) then you will get United States as the installed theme. Now there is a simple way to get all the countries theme installed so that we can use them to randomly change our background besides sticking to 1 preset theme.
· Go to Run (Windows key + r)
· Type C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT Enter (If you have installed your windows on any other drive then give the corresponding drive name instead of c: )
· You can see a Windows Explorer with a list of folder named MCT-AU, MCT-CA, MCT-GB, MCT-US and MCT-ZA. It contains the wallpaper for the specified countries like AU for Australia, CA for Canada, GB for Great Britain, US for United States and ZA for South Africa.
· In the search box type *.theme and enter.
· You will get a list of all the themes.
· Now just copy all the themes (press Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+C)
· Go folder C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and paste the theme you had just copied.
· Open the personalization gallery by right clicking on your desktop. You can see the new theme under the installed theme.
Now you can use the various themes and make your desktop look attractive.
