5 inventions I’d probably die without.

Basically, this goes like this.

1. The Internet: - Let’s face it- in this 21st century, you don’t need a television to watch your favorite shows, all you need is a high speed internet and a device like an iPod, a computer or any other technological invention you can connect it to. And with wireless internet you can take your favorite shows where ever you go. That’s my kind of invention.

2. Computers: - You don’t have a social life unless you have a working computer with Yahoo!, MSN or some other social chat software. People have even started internet dating; the day is not far away when people won’t need to meet each other for anything. The point is there’s a little geek smiling inside all of us.

3. X-BOX: - Oh lord, if I had to choose between my X-BOX and my girl friend the choice would be obvious, I’d have to leave my girlfriend. My X-BOX gives me a good time and doesn’t ask anything in return where as with my girlfriend I have to give her stuff even if she doesn’t ask for it because that’s what relationships are about (doesn’t reflect good on my wallet).

4. High Definition Plasma TV: - Where would I game and have a good experience in the absence of a beautiful HDTV. X-BOX alone doesn’t have the power to satisfy me but with its trusted psychic “The HD TV”, entertainment and non-stop fun is guaranteed.

5. My Phone :- Of course I am referring to my phone where I receive texts and calls from hot chicks who have my number (my girlfriend doesn’t know so you better not tell her). It is one device that allows me to use internet and listen to music when I am outside the house and lets me be connected with my friends. I use the term “my phone” instead of a brand name because I am a geek and I like to move with time and change my phone whenever something better comes along. The only cool thing about being a geek is being in touch with technology.

The morale of the story is we all have our little gadgets and big machines that drive us through every day may the day be good or bad. We all are geeks in our own ways just afraid to admit it. Thanks for reading this people. I seriously hope my girlfriend doesn’t come across this.
