so are you gonna take that survey?

So, a friend sent you a link to a survey site that pays $10 per survey. Or you saw a colorful website that promises you to pay $3000 a month. What would you do? Of course you'd sign up! But wait what about the $20 signup fee? "Who cares? I'm gonna get it back with just 2 surveys." Trust me I've heard this before, and I've been there and I've done that. So I'm going to share my experiences with fake survey sites.

I started off my one day surveying career when a friend referred me a site which gave us $1.25 for referrals and $2.50 for surveys. I was damn happy and completed all of the available surveys within 30 minutes or so. And then I waited and waited and waited for so many days because they had promised to bring in more surveys in near future. So I waited for days until I came up with the idea that they might be fake. So i ended up googling about survey scams. I researched a bit until I found that not only the site I signed up but most of the paid survey sites were scams. Many created such scams to generate ad revenue and much to my surprise, other sites made its users pay for joining in to do surveys. Seriously, why would people have to make you pay to do surveys?

So, are paid survey sites fake?
No, some of them aren't. But the real ones surely don't promise something like $243742834732 per survey. They offer you very less amount or nearly no amount of money for taking their surveys, rather they hold up a contest among the surveyees and give off prizes sometimes.

How do i recognize real survey sites?
Like I told you it's easy as pie. A real survey site will never promise you to get filthy rich just by taking some of their surveys. They will make all the information clear as water, and tell you beforehand the exact amount of money you are going to get from them, which would be a lot lesser that the fake ones.

How much exactly will I get from a REAL paid survey site?
A lot less than what you've seen at fake survey site advertisements. Well at least don't dream of getting hell rich overnight because that is simply NOT going to happen. What you can expect is earn a little bit of extra cash a month for a case or two of Budweiser maybe?

Money really doesn't grow on trees.

Tip: If you ever plan to join a paid survey site, make sure to search " scam" on google and you will be made more clear than you were made(on their advertisements), and if you come across a survey site that REALLY pays, be sure to email me :P
