WHAT DO YOU THINK IS TECHNOLOGY?
Technology is called the knowledge and the use of mechanics and science. But this doesn't complete the meaning. Technology is a broad concept that includes information which deals how can an individual utilizes the available resources and tools for making something somehow control and become a part of his/her environment. We generally relate technology to engineering, computer and science but it is not totally correct way as technology can also involve in arts, agriculture, economic development, architecture and all other places that involve the use of machines and is becoming the part of the system and technique of organization.
The word technology is compared to different things with different time period. During Stone Age, the invention of fire and wheel was called technology. Later in middle age, horses and donkeys cart was called technology. The generation thereafter referred cars, ships, planes etc. as technology. It’s too difficult to explain the progression of scientific technology as it changes with the change in generation. Sitting on bed or sofa and surfing through hundreds of channel with the help of TV remote is also technology. Switching of the light, music system and lighting the stove is also a technology. We can see the use of technology everywhere. Might it be school, office, grocery store or even the bank. From the very small age of ours we are taught that our solar system consist of 9 planet and a ball of fire called Sun. it is also one of the technology in the field of astronomy. It is a technology which made man step on the moon.
The latest technology that has been the right hand of a person these days is Cell Phone. It just does not keep in touch with friends but also has become the means of entertainment. Cell phone has now been regarded as a complete entertainment package. It not only just you to talk and sms but also let u listen to songs, watch video, take pictures, set alarm, calculate, and also let u know about the dates via calendar. Mobile phone has become a must and necessity of today’s world. In the field of mobile phone also we can see the latest technology of GPRS, EDGE which lets us to access to the internet on our cell phones. We can chat on messenger, send email, and also order for the latest hot mobile ring tones, themes, wallpaper, etc.
Computer technology has now become older and information technology has covered the world now a days. The totally new field exists these days. We can see the advancement of Information Technology (IT) day by day. It can be the reason for the large number of job opportunities for large number of people. It has brought great relief to the new generation for making them able to earn for their families. Just u need to do is to be Information Technology (IT) certified and become a member of this fastest advancing world. It can help in becoming the part of rat race for the success. Keep updated with the latest technology is also not a big deal as you just need to access internet and type correct words for the search.
