DOWNLOAD TORRENTS FROM YOUR PHONE??

Sounds interesting? Totally is. I always wanted to download my torrents when I am roaming around the city on my mobile phone(with various free Wi-Fi services of course). But that seemed to impossible until I found out these various ways to download torrents via mobile handsets.

1.SymTorrent :- SymTorrent is a Bittorrent client for Symbian 60 Series phones. So if you have a Symbian Series 60 phone, go to your torrent site, download the torrent to your handset(you can also download via your computer or laptop or whatever, and transfer it into your handset via the data cable), and then download it by SymTorrent. You can also download multiple files at once, just like you do in your PC. More info about SymTorrent can be found here.
Download SymTorrent from here.
Here is an interesting video showing Imre Kelényi, the main developer of SymTorrent demo his software.

2. MobTorrent : MobTorrent is a Bittorrent client for Nokia S40 phones. It is developed by the same developers who developed SymTorrent. However your phone should support all Java ME capable phones with the proper JSRs.More info about MobTorrent can be found here.

3. The iPhone web app : Yea, it's pretty sad Apple develops all the useless softwares and put it up to sale. But thank the God almighty a web app however is available for iPhones. The web app is not only iPhone app but supports all the other unsupported handsets. Go to http://www.louish.com/utorrent  from your handset for the web app.

Happy Downloading !
